The Belgian Linen™ quality label is an internationally registered trademark. The label was created to promote linen from Belgium, widely known as the world's finest linen. George Street Linen is proud to be able to use this premium material to custom make sheets.

Flax thrives in the region of Western Europe. A moist and temperate climate and excellent soil quality provide for one of the best qualities of flax in the world. This region is situated between Caen and Amsterdam, Belgium being in the exact middle of it all
Belgian Linen Production
The fabric is inspected yard by yard and mended by hand where necessary. All Belgian Linen products are made with great care, for the product, but also for the environment. Over the last few years, Belgian Linen have again made significant steps by becoming a CO2 neutral mill.
Certified Members
To carry the esteemed Belgian Linen Label our linen has been woven within a belgian mill, and at least 85% of the weight of the fabric consists of flax grown within the EU. A truely premium fabric!
Our new Made to Order Range of Belgian Linen gives you the ability to select from standard sizing of Bed Linen in your piece of choice, or specify exact measurements. All pieces are then hand cut and sewn to your specific measurements in our workshop in 16 George Street, Whakatane - where George Street Linen began.
